Was able to visit the Arlington National Cemetery with my family today. We visited my uncle’s grave who was killed serving in World War II. What an honor to have someone in my family that served, and gave the ultimate sacrifice so I can live free. We watched the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The holy hush that was in the atmosphere was amazing. I’m so proud to be called an American!
No matter how educated, talented, rich, or cool you believe you are, how you treat people tells all Integrity is EVERYTHING!
Just want to give a shout out to Rick Myers for all of his awesome pageant pictures. He has a way of capturing the “precious memories”.
Just have to say I am so excited I am getting a puppy, a Doberman. He was born January 1, 2016. His name will be called Fervent! The whole family is so excited.
I am so proud to wear the title of Miss Greater Richmond 2016. There will be many opportunities ahead for me. A crown and sash should only be symbols for one who loves and embodies the qualities of a true servant. So thankful someone entrusted me with this beautiful top hat. 🙂
Recently I attended the Miss Virginia Workshop and was able to meet some wonderful girls as well as turn in all of my paper work. During the afternoon workshop I once again heard the true significance of the Miss America Organization and its work with the Children’s Miracle Network. The title of “Miss Virginia” or “Miss America” is all about giving to others, and fund raising for these sweet, little, and precious children is one of the beauties of this system! Sixty-two children enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital every minute, that is one child every second. Save a life and donate now!

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to meet Miss America 2014, Nina Davuluri. She spoke on distracted driving and made me realize that it is not always texting and driving that is the issue, but even eating while you are driving can be extremely dangerous! There were over 800 deaths last year in the state of Virginia due to car accidents. Be safe and remember, nothing is worth your life or someone else’s, especially not a french fry!
