I am so glad I was given the opportunity to take part in the Child Advocacy Celebrity Night. I have a special place in my heart for children, especially for my 6 nephews. So glad to be a part of helping children. They need someone to be a voice for them.
Another fundraiser for CMNH. This one was held at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Richmond. My directors and family were there to support me. There was for sure never a dull moment.
Talking about a blast???? That’s what I had this week-end with all of my sister queens in guess where???-That’s right NYC! Thank you, Sherri, for EVERYTHING!!! It drew us closer together and the memories-I will cherish them forever. Especially my new name-Dee-Dee 🙂
I personally know someone that has been effected by this disease. So, I counted it such a privilege to help work this fundraiser. Mike, Terri, and Sam-I love you and thank you for all of your support. It was great to be able to give back. 🙂
What an encouragement tonight was. The manager at Sweet Frog, Josh, could not have been more helpful and encouraging. My Princess Queen, Lydia, was there and willingly kicked in to help. Everyone that came in was so encouraging to me and so willing to help with this great cause. The people that live in our state’s capital are truly amazing! It makes me so proud to be their representative. Thank you everyone for your help and support.
To be asked to be the guest speaker at Impact Student Ministries for their Valentine Banquet was way more than I could have ever dreamed. So glad to tell youth that they ARE somebody special and they ARE valued!
What an honor to work beside my sister queens to help with this event. Everyone was so excited and looked so nice. I couldn’t believe how everyone was so glad to see us and have pictures taken. What a great event! So glad I had a part in it.
The show went on even though the weather did everything it could to have this event canceled. Had so much fun raising money for CHKD at the Love Run.
Was so happy tonight when my good friend Shelby Smith was crowned Miss Deep Creek. So proud of her and the example she is setting for others.
Grace is when somebody hurts you and you try to understand their situation instead of trying to hurt them back! Funny how sayings like this come along right when I need them 🙂
